Do you have kids 12 & younger?
Our Rock Hoppers program provides them and your family an opportunity to share an experience they will never forget. The trips are focused specifically for the young adventurer to help them feel empowered, tap into their natural curiosity and inspire them to respect and appreciate nature. All Rock Hoppers trips are private and all participants receive a T-shirt to remind them that they can conquer mountains.
Half Day Trip 4-5 Hours
A half day trip, whether it is canyoneering or climbing, is the perfect amount of time. Our guides are great at working with the youngsters to get them through the rappels or the rock climbs. Some Rock Hoppers are ready to go and can't get enough while others are nervous and need more coaching. Our guides will customize the trip appropriately and are all trained in safety techniques to make sure your kid's safety is #1.
One or Two Person Trips: $340
Groups of 3 or More:
Adults - $140
17 & under - $130
Full Day Trip 7-8 Hours
Is your Rock Hopper adventurous and up for an extended challenge? Although we think the half day is the best option, we know some Rock Hoppers can't get enough. A full day canyon, climb, or combination trip can be exactly what you are looking for. The full day is more strenuous but also allows your family to get more rappels and cover more terrain. Some full day canyons have hikes up to 1.5 hours and are for those who want the extended adventure!
One or Two Person Trips: $420
Groups of 3 or More:
Adults - $190
17 & under - $180
All trips include the technical gear: harness, helmets and gloves; transportation; and expert instruction from one of our Wilderness First Responder Certified guides.
If you are staying in the proximities of Springdale, Rockville, La Verkin, Hurricane, or Washington, Utah, your guide will drive to your hotel or campground and pick you up right from where you are staying; or arrange a convenient meeting location near the designated recreation site.
Your guides will do the heavy lifting; all you need to bring is 2-3 quarts of water per person, snacks/lunch, and layers for cooler morning and canyon temperatures.
Trip start times will vary depending upon the season.
Half day trips start 7-8 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
Full day trips start 7-8 a.m.
